So… I Haven’t Booked the Ticket Yet (And My Student Portal Is Fighting Me)

Scene 1: Me confidently logging in.
Scene 2: Me clicking the wrong thing and ending up on a page for last semester’s dental program.
Scene 3: Me questioning if I was even supposed to be in school to begin with.

It’s not giving “academic weapon” right now — it’s giving soft struggle with Wi-Fi interruptions.

But here’s what I love about this moment:
It’s real. It’s not curated. It’s not a perfect travel vlog.
It’s me… trying to book a ticket I can afford, while also trying not to scream at my laptop.
And somehow still making tea in between.

So will I be flying to London with a layover in Iceland?
Maybe.
Will I get those courses added before my dashboard locks me out?
Hopefully.
Am I still going to blog about it even if everything goes sideways?
Absolutely.

Okay, so here’s the truth:
I was going to post the “I’m off to London with a dreamy Iceland layover” blog this week, but… plot twist:
I haven’t bought the ticket.
Like, at all.

I’ve been searching.
Refreshing Skyscanner like it owes me money.
Staring at flight prices like they’re personally disrespecting me.
One minute I’m seeing “$400” and the next it’s “$1100” and my spirit just quietly logs out.
It’s giving: “I will travel, but only when the algorithm is in my favor.”

And as if that wasn’t enough drama, let’s talk about my student portal.
Why is it that the minute school starts, everything becomes a puzzle?
Trying to register for my courses has turned into a full-blown mini-series:

Because this isn’t just a blog about what goes right.
It’s a space for the in-betweens — the “I’m trying my best, but it’s not giving influencer” days.
It’s where the chaos meets the calm.
And where I get to say out loud:

“I’m figuring it out. Be right back.”

So no London post just yet.
No Iceland clouds.
No boarding pass selfies.
But this? This moment?
It’s part of the story too.
